Mini-Skewers with Sour Cream Sauce and Mint

  • Sour cream
  • 2 slices of bread, cut in dices
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 1 lbs. of pork, or any other meat
  • 1 packet of onion sauce mix
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • Pepper, ground
  • 1 tsp. of dried oregano
  • SAUCE: 1 cup of Riviera sour cream
  • SAUCE: ¼ cup of fresh mint, chopped
  • SAUCE: Pepper, ground
  • SAUCE: 2 tbsp. of lemon juice
  • SAUCE: 1 tbsp. of ginger, finely chopped

Preparation: 10 minutes / Baking: 20 minutes / Servings: 4

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 °F.
  2. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce and keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
  3. In a bowl, soak the bread in the milk for a few minutes.
  4. In that same bowl, add the small sliced pieces of pork (or any other meat), the onion sauce mix, the onion, the pepper and the oregano. Mix everything together.
  5. Roll the meat and the preparation into small pieces and put them on wood skewers.
  6. Place the skewers on a baking tray and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
  7. On a service plate, place the skewers together with the bowl for the sauce.
