Linguine with tomatoes, basil and parmesan

Servings : 4 people
** **Ingredients :

½ of a 450 g package of linguine
⅓ cup olive oil
2 garlic cloves
1 pints cherry tomatoes
1 398-ml can cherry tomatoes
¼ tsp crushed peppers

1 tsp maple syrup
Pinch salt and pepper
1 cup fresh basil, chopped
¼ cup parmesan cheese

Preparation :

Cook pasta in a large pot of salted, boiling water until al dente, drain and set aside.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and add garlic, tomatoes, crushed chili, maple syrup, salt and pepper.
Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes burst.
Add pasta with basil and garnish with parmesan cheese.
